Seek peace

Psalms 34:11-14

Come, O children, listen to me;

I will teach you the fear of the Lord.

Which of you desires life,

and covets many days to enjoy good?

Keep your tongue from evil,

and your lips from speaking deceit.

Depart from evil, and do good;

seek peace, and pursue it.

Loving God

involves speaking truth

and not evil.

Desiring life

and all that is good

is achieved 

by seeking peace.

Prayer

Help us to speak only truth, truth that builds up and does not destroy, truth that leads us on paths of peace..
